This page is about our journey after major life changes. About family, moving to Norway, building our own foundation, health, personal growth, new opportunities and people we would like to walk alongside.
We are not trying to show a perfect life. We simply share what we are living through ourselves: how our view of the future, work, health, values and responsibility has been changing.
Our life has had many different stages: work, our own business, children, moving to Norway, adaptation, uncertainty, new challenges and a gradual understanding of what truly matters to us.
Where My Experience Began
My name is Yurii Shchokin. For many years my life was connected with technology, websites, computer equipment, clients and the development of different online projects.
I worked with websites, SEO, content, project promotion and practical technical tasks. Before that, I worked with computer equipment: repairs, setup, maintenance and sales.
A large part of my experience has always been connected with people: clients, customers, partners, teams and different situations where it was not enough just to do the task. It was important to understand the person’s need and find a normal solution.
Websites, SEO and content taught me to look wider. Not only at the technical side, but also at the meaning: what people are looking for, why they trust, how they make decisions and why simple language matters.
Today, this experience helps us build our own space: a website, a blog, a personal brand, communication and a new direction that has gradually become part of our life.

Olena and Our Family
My wife Olena has experience in social work and charitable organizations. She is close to the themes of supporting people, care, attention and real help.
At the same time, Olena is a very creative person. She loves making things with her hands, working with natural materials and creating something warm for the home and for people.
Natural beeswax candles are especially close to her. There is something very much like her in them: calmness, warmth, naturalness, attention to detail and the desire to bring comfort into a home.
We have three children, and family has become the main reason for us to look for stability, new opportunities and a calmer rhythm of life.
Moving to Norway
Moving to Norway changed the way we look at life. A new country, a new language, a different system, a different rhythm and many things that you need to get used to step by step.
Here we began to feel the value of time, family, health, calmness, nature and simple everyday things in a different way.
But adaptation is not only beautiful photos and new impressions. It is also uncertainty, questions about work, documents, the future and how to build life further when many things do not depend only on you.
When You Want to Build Your Own Foundation
Life under collective protection gave us safety, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be in Norway during a difficult time for Ukrainians.
But for a family, it is hard to live for a long time in a state of uncertainty. When you do not know what comes next, how the rules may change, whether you will be able to stay, find stable work and make long-term plans.
This is what made us think more seriously about our own foundation. Not waiting for perfect conditions, but gradually taking more responsibility for our life, our decisions and the future of our children.

Why We Started Looking Wider
Over time, we realized that we do not need just another job. We need a direction that can be connected with life, family, growth, health and normal human communication.

For us, this was not a sudden turn in one day. It became a natural continuation of our experience: working with people, creating useful content, learning, understanding and looking for solutions that may be helpful not only for us.

When a family has many tasks, adaptation, stress, a new environment and constant questions about the future, having enough inner resource becomes very important.

Why I Created This Website
SHCHOKIN.PRO is a personal space for me. Here I can collect thoughts, experience, ideas, observations and everything that is now part of our life.
I wanted to create a place where we can speak normally, in our own words and without making things unnecessarily complicated. Not to show a perfect life, but to share what is actually happening.
Maybe someone will relate to our experience of life in Norway. Someone may connect with the topic of health, energy or growth. Someone may be looking for a new foundation. And someone may simply find a thought here that feels right at this moment.
Who We Want to Have Around Us
We are interested in people who value family, health, growth, honesty, learning and a calm desire to build their life more consciously.
People who do not want to live only in negativity, but also do not run away from reality. People who understand that change takes time, action, support and a healthy environment.

We do not know exactly where this path will lead us in a few years. But we know for sure that we do not want to simply wait until someone else decides everything for us.
We want to protect our family, stay true to ourselves, keep learning, develop the website, the blog, our personal brand, health, partnership and gradually build a calmer and more stable life.
For us, this journey is not about quick results. It is about responsibility, experience, people, inner foundation and the desire to move forward.
