I write about family, life in Norway, wellbeing, FitLine, personal growth and business. Some articles are personal stories, while others answer questions I have looked into myself.

Why I Use the Skills I Already Have in My Partner Business

In this partner business, I use the skills I already have and keep learning the things that are new to me. Most of my experience is in working with customers, websites, SEO and content. I still use all of that today. And when I do not know how to do something yet, I learn it step by step.

Why I Use the Skills I Already Have in My Partner Business

I see no reason to put aside experience I spent years building. I use what I already know, and where I still lack experience, I learn from people who are already getting results.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING AT THE START

I use what I already know and keep learning

Websites, SEO, writing and customer work have been familiar to me for years. Reaching out to new people regularly, keeping invitations short, recording more video and learning how to work within a partner business are things I started practising here.

Before this, I worked in accounting, ran my own service business, worked with customers and a team, and then spent many years working with websites, SEO, content and online promotion.

There is no point repeating my whole story here. What matters for this article is simpler: which parts of that experience I actually use now, and what I still have to learn.

WHAT FROM MY PAST EXPERIENCE STILL HELPS

Some of it is useful here too

I do not think accounting or running a service business somehow prepared me specifically for PM-International. But those years gave me habits and experience that are still useful now.

Accounting Checking numbers and documents

I am used to looking at the conditions myself, checking the numbers and understanding how things work.

My own business Working with customers and a team

I already know that people are different, and the same conversation does not work with everyone.

Online work Website, SEO and content

This is where I have the most experience, so these are tools I naturally continue to use.

WHAT SEO MEANS

SEO is the work of making website pages easier to find through Google and other search engines. In simple terms, someone searches for a topic, and your article may appear in the search results.

MY OWN STORY WITH THE WEBSITE

It would be strange not to use something I already know well

I have worked with website development and promotion for many years, so it made sense to use that experience for SHCHOKIN.PRO as well. I genuinely enjoy working on it. I can sit down to fix something, rewrite a paragraph, check how search is working or move a few sections around, and for me that is a way to switch off from other things.

SHCHOKIN.PRO My own place online

This is where I collect material about my experience, FitLine, the partner business and things happening in my life.

Search Another way for people to find me

Someone can find an article through Google and learn more about me from there.

Content Something I enjoy doing

I like longer-form writing and working on the website, so it would make no sense not to use that experience for myself.

AND FOR THE THINGS I DO NOT KNOW YET

This is where the training system matters to me

Y.O.U.R. Community has a ready training system. A new partner is not left alone wondering, "What do I do now?" There is Partner School, learning materials, a landing page, regular meetings and people you can ask when something is unclear.

That matters to me too, because there are things I am still learning myself. For example, making invitations shorter, meeting more people, reaching out more often, handling rejection more calmly and getting better with video.

I learn through this system and use my previous experience where it helps.

WHAT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE YET

That is normal

Not everyone comes in with experience in sales, video, social media or customer work. In network marketing, many things only start to make sense through practice.

At the beginning, it matters more to understand the basics, go through the training and start taking simple actions. As you go, you begin to see what comes more easily and what still needs work.

If you cannot do something yet, you can learn it. And if you already have useful experience, you can build on it.

WHAT I AM STILL LEARNING MYSELF

There are still things I need to learn

I can build a page, write an article or work with SEO. But that does not teach me how to invite someone briefly, run a good meeting or help a new partner through their first steps.

So I watch how people who already have results work, listen to the training, ask questions and try things myself. Some things come faster. Others take more time.

I have already written separately about why this new direction is about more than money for me, and how much of it comes down to learning skills I barely used before.

MY CONCLUSION

I use my experience and keep learning

I use websites, SEO and content because I have worked with them for years and I genuinely enjoy it. I see no reason to ignore experience I already have.

At the same time, I am learning things in the partner business that I hardly did before. This is where the system, the training and people who already have results help me.

Someone else may come in with completely different experience, or with no experience in this kind of work at all. That is what training, practice and support are there for.
