Over a few years, I gradually got used to things that I was no longer really happy with. My back bothered me more often, after a longer walk I wanted to sit down, I did not always wake up feeling rested, and I could drink five or six cups of coffee during the day. Each of these things was easy to explain on its own. But when I looked at my condition as a whole, I understood something simple: I wanted to feel better.
I Started Taking My Well-Being Seriously
For a long time, I paid attention to my health mainly when something was already getting in the way. If the day went more or less normally, I did not think much about how much energy I had, how well I slept or why certain things kept happening for months. I look at it differently now.
If a machine started working worse, we looked for the reason instead of waiting for it to break completely
I used to run a service business repairing and maintaining office equipment. If a printer started leaving streaks, jamming paper or working differently than before, we checked what was wrong.
Nobody said: it still prints, so everything must be fine.
But for years, I treated my own well-being in almost exactly that way.
Headache? It will pass. Back bothering me? I will rest. Slept badly? I will get through the day. Low on energy? I will have another coffee.
But there were enough things that kept happening again and again
My back often bothered me. After a longer walk, I wanted to sit down and rest. My legs sometimes felt heavy. I had headaches more often.
I did not always wake up feeling rested. By evening, I often had noticeably less energy.
I drank a lot of coffee. Five or six cups a day had become normal for me. And there were the cigarettes I had wanted to quit for a long time.
Each thing was easy to explain on its own. My back, because I sat a lot. Tiredness, because it had been a busy day. Poor sleep, because I had too much on my mind. Coffee, because I was used to it. Cigarettes, because of stress.
But all those explanations did not change the main point: I did not like how I felt.
There are medical issues, and there is how I feel in everyday life
If something hurts for a long time, keeps coming back or seriously worries me, that is something to discuss with a doctor. I do not want to diagnose myself or look for explanations online.
But there is also ordinary day-to-day well-being.
How did I sleep? How did I wake up? Do I have enough energy until evening? Do I feel like going for a walk? How do I feel after normal walking? How much coffee do I need during the day just to feel more awake?
I used to look at these things separately, if I noticed them at all. Now I look at them together, because they make up a large part of an ordinary day.
I had wanted to quit for a long time, but I kept postponing the decision
Sometimes it was stress, sometimes too much going on, sometimes simply the wrong moment. The reasons changed, but I kept smoking.
When I finally quit, I understood the difference between saying “I want to change something” and actually beginning to change it.
After that, I started paying more attention to other things as well: sleep, movement, water, food and how I felt throughout the day.
What matters here is not a product description, but what I personally noticed
I started with the basic FitLine products and used them consistently.
I had more energy. I started sleeping better and recovering better at night. I wanted much less coffee. Overall, I started feeling better.
During the same period, I had already quit smoking and started changing other habits, so I am not going to say that every change came only from FitLine. But I did notice a difference after I started using the products regularly, and that is why I continued.
Today, different FitLine products are used by my wife, our three children, my sisters and my parents. Everyone has a different set and different reasons for using the products. I do not want to speak for them about their results, but it matters to me that FitLine is not something I know only from presentations or other people's reviews.
I use the products myself and I see the people closest to me using them too. That is why I can talk about FitLine from personal experience.
At the same time, sleep, movement, normal food and seeing a doctor when something needs medical attention are still important to me.
It matters to me not only that I get everything done, but also how I feel during the day
Before, I could drink several cups of coffee, get through everything I needed to do and decide that the day had gone fine.
Now I also pay attention to whether I woke up rested, whether I had enough energy until evening, whether I felt like walking and how I felt after normal physical activity.
At 45, I do not expect to feel exactly the same as I did at 20. But I also do not want to blame age for things I can influence myself: sleep, movement, food and my own habits.
For me, that is much more specific than simply saying: “my health seems fine”.
I feel more like doing things that are not obligations
Going for a walk with my wife. Going somewhere together as a family. Spending time with the children.
Meeting people. Reading. Working on my own plans. Simply leaving the house because I want to, not because I have to.
I do not need more energy so I can stay busy all the time.
I want enough energy left after ordinary things for the parts of life I actually want to enjoy.
I would ask myself three simple questions
For example, waking up tired, poor sleep, back discomfort, low energy or constantly needing coffee.
For me, it was smoking. For someone else, it may be sleep, movement, food or something that should have been discussed with a doctor a long time ago.
Not change my whole life in one day. Just take one clear action that I have been postponing for a long time.
I stopped waiting for the things I was unhappy with to somehow change on their own
I did not change everything at once, and I do not live by a perfect routine.
But now I understand much better what affects how I feel and which parts of it depend on me.
If this article made you think of one specific thing about your own well-being that has been repeating for a long time and no longer feels okay to you, maybe that is where it makes sense to begin.
